Three facts to read separately
- Legal Status identifies prescription or non-prescription dispensing for a matching registration ID.
- Product Control is taken from that same product record. An ingredient’s schedule entry is shown separately, since preparation-specific exceptions exist.
- For narcotic and controlled medicines, section 4.2.1 requires SFDA approval issued through CDS for personal-use clearance. Registration and a prescription do not establish that approval.
